Privacy Policy - Servant Prep App

"Servant Prep" (إعداد الخدام) is the servant-preparation service app of St. Mary's Church, Ismailia. It is used by service members - students, servants, and service leaders - to follow attendance, study, and spiritual life during the preparation program.

Data we collect

• Account data: your name in Arabic and English, phone number, profile photo, birthday, address, church and confession father, and your email address if you sign in with Google or Apple. Students are also asked their gender, whether they are a deacon, and whether and where they serve.
• Service data: the batch you are in and the term it has reached, meeting attendance, subject grades, quiz and exam results, excuses, tasks and the homework photos you hand in, and the notes and visit records your servants keep about you.
• Spiritual notebook: daily marks such as prayer, reading, attending the liturgy and confession. Only you, the servants of your batch and the service leader can see it.
• Notification identifier: a technical token for your device so notifications can reach it, removed with the account.

How we use it

Data is used inside the service only: recording attendance, computing scores and the leaderboard, letting servants follow the students assigned to them, and sending service notifications. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or give it to anyone to use for their own purposes. The services that carry it: Google Firebase stores it and runs sign-in, our server runs on Railway, and Expo delivers notifications. Each processes it on our behalf alone and may not use it for anything else. If you sign in with Google or Apple, they confirm who you are.

Where it lives

Data is held on secure cloud servers and encrypted both in transit and at rest. Access is role-scoped: each servant sees their own batches only, and the service leader sees the whole service.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and all of your data permanently at any time from inside the app: More → your name → Delete Account → Delete my account permanently. If your account is still waiting for approval, "Delete Account" is on the waiting screen itself. Deletion happens at once: your profile, attendance, marks, spiritual notebook, homework and the notes kept about you are erased, and the sign-in account is removed.

If you only want to stop your access and keep your record, choose "Just close my account". The same mobile number then brings you back to the same account once a servant approves you again.

Children

The app is for members of the church's servant-preparation service; every account is reviewed and approved by service leaders before activation.
